Biography

2D's newer look (below) is not much different from his older look (above).

2D (or 2-D, in "Clint Eastwood") ("real" name being "Stuart Tusspot") is known for his azure-blue hair, eyeless face and his innocent personality. He is the lead singer and keyboardist. According to their official website (www.gorillaz.com), 2D is not very intelligent, since he had migraines as a kid, growing up in Hertfordshire, England. At the age of eleven, he hit his head falling out of a tree and lost his hair; growing back, his hair was as blue as it is now (he is now 30 years old). Even though 2D is quite clumsy, most of his current features (i.e. missing eyes and front teeth) weren’t his fault. He lost his two teeth from a food fight during their label signing party, when some stuff an éclair in his face. Each of his eyes was lost from two separate accidents involving Murdoc's "Geep" ("Jeep" slang; pronounced "g-eep", as so in the original MTV Cribs episode of the Gorillaz mansion, further below). These costly losses turned out to be nothing worse than a small speech problem with the combination of the letters "th" (2D pronounces this as "f"). He can still bite his nails (in the "Gorilla Bitez" video "The Eel") and can still see (the ability to see the fast moving billiard balls in "Rock the House").

Murdoc

Murdoc has not changed at all, except for his clothing, as in his Nazi outfit in "Dirty Harry" (not shown). This is him playing his bass guitar in "Clint Eastwood" (above).

Murdoc (full name being Murdoc Niccals: there is no K in his first name; his last name is sometimes spelled with two L's) is known for having green teeth, pink eyes and for wearing an upside-down cross. It is still being debated whether or not he is a Satanist, later on below. He is the bass guitarist, not to be mistaken for Noodle's position. It is very obvious, from all of the Gorillaz videos, that he is a sex addict. He may also be an alcoholic, since he is often found with a beer bottle (holding one or not). Being the oldest of his bandmates, he is currently 42 years old and was born in Stoke-On-Trent, England. He takes credit over most of Gorillaz's songs, yet it is under debate over whether how is boss. He did, however, formed the group.

Noodle

Noodle is probably the character with the most physical change. As you can see, Noodle older look (above) compared to her newer look (below) includes different hair style, head shape and age attributes (meaning she looks much younger in her form shown above). The below picture is a poster based on her hit single "Dare".

Noodle, being the youngest in the band (unknown exact age, under debate), doesn't remember her actual name. "Noodle" derived from the first English word she was ever able to say. Her past, she found out, was mostly military-based. Growing up, she was placed in a Japanese air-force division project. She was sent to her other bandmates inside a FedEx crate, according to the Cribs video discussed in 2D biography. Since her odd meet with the rest of the band, she made a inseparable friendship with 2D (girlfriend/boyfriend relationship). She had an unusual knack at guitar, therefore making her a great lead guitarist. Her most noteable hit, "Dare", was made completely by her, the first solo song in the band's history, in the animation part of it, that is. Unfortunately, before Gorillaz had a chance to make another album after "Demon Days", she was supposedly killed in an incident featured in the "El Mañana" music video. This incident is further described report shown further below on this page.

If you are not a fan of Gorillaz, do not get angry because your favorite artist does not have a page of their own. The reason why this page is due to the fact that I need more space to put their biographies. If you still don't like the page, ignore it. The truth is, if I didn't actually like the Gorillaz, I would still have to make this page.
